CITY OF MILES CITY Lifeguard in MILES CITY, Montana
This is a full-time, seasonal position. Will work 7 days per week, days will vary. May work up to 40 hours per week. Under the general supervision of the Pool Manager, this position is responsible for strictly and consistently enforcing all pool rules and regulations to ensure the safety of the pool patrons. Will be responsible for protecting the safety of individuals using the facility, strictly and fairly enforces all rules and procedures associated with the facility, monitors the safety of all individuals in and around the water. Must wear designated uniform at all times to be readily recognizable as a lifeguard, constantly remains clear and safety conscious to prevent or react to correct unsafe situations. Quickly responds and renders first aid as needed. Clears pool quickly and safely in emergency situations. Reports accidents injuries, and problems to the supervisor. The wage is $14.00/hr. Must meet legal age requirements. Knowledge, skills and abilities are typically attained by certifications in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Life Saving, First Aid and Water Safety. Qualified applications DO NOT need to be certified prior to applying. The employer will help gain the certification.
