ROCKS Staff Assistant in MILES CITY, Montana
IMMEDIATE OPENINGS
SUMMARY:
Work with and supervise children ages 6-12, during the program hours; and perform the essential duties and responsibilities listed below:
Interact well with children ages 6-12---Elementary Grades 1-6
Follow Instruction from a supervisor
Be Punctual, neatly groomed, and have good hygiene
Possess good character
Be a role model by choosing positive choices
Respect the reputation of the ROCKS Program
Respect the ROCKS Building
Sufficient literary and communication skills
Sufficient knowledge of educational materials
Apply program curriculum
Organize and participate in games, crafts and similar activities
Clean the program area on a daily basis
Set up snacks for the Afterschool Program, and help serve Breakfast and lunches in the Summer Rec. Program.
Will attend CPR, First Aid, and all other training required and arranged by the Program Coordinator.
Clean the building at the end of each session. (Afterschool and Summer Programs)
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to complete each essential duty on a daily basis. WAGES AND HOURS:
Pay is $10.30 per hour minimum wage for the State of Montana. The Afterschool hours are 22 hours per week. 3:30-6:30pm Monday -- Thursday. And Fridays 8:30am.-6:30pm
Job begins with a training period, and the first day of School with the children, and ends with the last day of school. Summer hours are 8:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. The Staff is here setting up summer lunch, and cleaning the building the first week out of school, and cleaning the 1^st^ week after the summer program is complete.
4 Job positions will be available. Jr. Staff also needed.
