    Provides behavioral management and support services to seriously emotionally disturbed youth in school-based settings such as: classroom, school grounds, educational and recreational activities.


  • Assess SED student behaviors in all program areas and implement behavior management interventions according to treatment plan and/or the direction of the CSCT Therapist

  • Assist CSCT Therapist in assessment and intervention in student crisis situations

  • Communicate and collaborate with treatment team, CSCT program and school staff

  • Attend program staff meetings, team meetings, IEP/CST meetings, and school meetings

  • Document behavioral management interactions with SED students according to CSCT program guidelines, including individual and group contact notes, Monthly Progress Reports, Quarterly Reports, and Incident Reports

  • Organize and implement individual, group and recreation activities in collaboration with the treatment team and/or the direction of the CSCT Therapist

  • Consultation with SED student families according to program guidelines

  • Responsible for the maintenance of program and therapy areas, filing in client charts and overseeing program supplies

  • Maintain communication with Supervisor and respond to all communication and requests within 24 hours

  • Accountable for Productivity standards outlined by program budget

  • Abides by the employee Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Policies, Procedures and Values set forth by WMMHC

  • Participate in on‐going program development and perform additional duties that may be assigned by the Director of Services to Children and Families Service Line Director that may be specific to program or regional needs

  • Advise Supervisor and Service Line Director in advance of any possible or pending involvement in legal proceedings regarding professional services rendered by any employee or any situation that may occur immediately


  • BA in Human Services or a related field

  • Experience working with SED youth and families

  • Treatment team experience preferred

  • Strong behavioral management skills required


  • Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training provided

  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment

  • Must have valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record

  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies
