Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Civil BIM Specialist 3, we'll count on you to:

Support design team using AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software platforms to perform tasks such as survey data processing, surface creation, quantity take offs, and piping alignments.

Create plan and profile construction drawings of piping alignments and civil site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.

Create construction drawings of heavy civil works structures and piping and equipment designs for pumping and treatment facilities working in a BIM production environment.

Perform other duties as needed.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience.

6+ years of experience required in engineering drafting and design as it relates to various civil engineering projects.

Requires good working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Knowledge and training in the use of MicroStation, InRoads, LDD, GEOPAK, and Revit is helpful but not required.

Survey background and survey data processing is beneficial.

Microsoft Office skills

An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree in Civil Engineering Technology preferred

Preference given to local candidates.
