    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Support end users by gathering information and routing requests to appropriate IS team members by creating and updating work orders using RemedyForce Service Desk software. Support end users with immediate need and tier1 issues and assist other members of IS team members to complete work orders as needed. Develop and maintain professional working relationships with employees, vendors, and participate effectively and positively in an Information Services team environment; Assist senior manager's/program directors with IS solutions when requested.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Exercise professional, courteous and helpful interactions with company staff and other IS-related contacts including vendors and sales people.

  • Support end users by assisting with general computer, thin client, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft applications, in house applications, software and hardware configuration, maintenance, and problems, including peripheral and networked devices.

  • S upport end users by troubleshooting network connectivity problems local to workstations and in client/server environment.

  • Provide basic how-to knowledge to end users regarding general computer use pertaining to Microsoft Windows, Office 365, Barracuda Email encryption, E-Fax, Zoom and email, as well as other company installed software and hardware.

  • Complete minimal server related tasks, such as resolving logon issues and troubleshooting network printers and print servers.

  • Respond to telephone and email requests and problems in timely manner.

  • Aid in keeping current documentation of helpdesk work order status, hardware and software inventory and allocation, and instructional documents provided to end users.

  • Aid in development of new or improve upon existing technological procedures to improve efficiency.

  • Learn new technical skills as required.

  • Other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

  • Minimum two-year college degree in computer related field.

  • Working knowledge of general computer principles and operations.

  • Working knowledge of VOIP telephone system operations.

  • Familiar with the general use of and experience configuring and troubleshooting Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office and standard computer hardware.

    Minimum Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.

  • Proof of auto liability insurance in compliance with WMMHC’s requirements.

  • Ability to use personal vehicle for limited travel to serve employees’ IS needs.

  • Ability to pass background check upon offer of employment.
