Western Montana Mental Health Center Director of Information Services in Missoula, Montana

Western Montana Mental Health Center’s Director of Information Systems oversees all IT, Health Information Systems (HIS), and Telecommunication functions within WMMHC, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing and implementing IT strategies, providing user support and training, managing IT/HIS teams, ensuring data security and compliance, managing vendor relationships, and budgeting for IT resources.

The Director of Information Systems has experience managing technology platforms across multiple locations and services, advanced technical knowledge in a broad array of areas, and a strong understanding of IT systems and infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cybersecurity protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in IT management and at least three (3) years of supervisory/leadership experience.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience with information systems in a healthcare environment.

  • Ability to pass a background check upon offer of employment

  • Valid current driver’s license with good driving record.
