Providence Director Pharmacy Relations-Supply Chain PSJH in Missoula, Montana

Description:

Director Pharmacy Relations-Supply Chain PSJH - Pharmacy at Providence Strategic and Management Services. This positon is fully remote and can sit in any state within the Providence footprint.

Responsible for $1.4B of strategic purchasing optimization of pharmaceuticals for PSJH. Provides leadership, direction, strategic planning and oversight for all purchasing made for all 7 regions, sites of service, and lines of business.Responsible for the development and execution of purchasing optimization which entails managing 9 FTEs throughout the system.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration or equivalent education/experience

  • Currently licensed in one of the states in which PSJH conducts business.

  • 10 or more years experience in managing bids and negotiating a contract based on the bid from price through redline language negotiations and signature.

  • 5 years Leadership experience in a large complex integrated healthcare delivery system, or multiple-facility hospital provider system or similar setting, or pharmacy benefit management (PBM).

  • 2 years Non-profit pharmacy management experience.

  • 2 years For profit pharmacy management experience.

  • Experienced in coordinating/facilitating team work groups/task groups.

  • Experience in a regulated environment.

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • 1 year Oncology focused contracting experience or equivalent work experience.
