Child Start Inc. Family Advocate in Missoula, Montana

Summary Job Description: This position assists the Family Services staff by acting as a liaison between the Education, Medical and Family
Services components and families. It develops and facilitates plans to ensure that families have access to appropriate services. It facilitates
intra and inter agency communications to ensure that services to families are coordinated among program components and appropriate
community services. Maintenance of timely and accurate records is required. Confidentiality is required. Meetings are attended. The position works effectively with staff, supervisors, parents and community service agencies

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Training
Required: Bachelors in social work or related field (i.e. human services, family services, counseling)
Prefer: One year of experience working in a social work related field preferred. One year of experience working in an office preferred.
Experience working in a preschool setting. Volunteer or work experience in Head Start Program. Experience with preschool aged children.
