S&K Engineering & Research, LLC (SKER), a member of the S&K Family of Companies and owned by the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes, is actively seeking a General Clerk I to join our team. SKT w as formed in 1999 with a vision to become one of the preeminent professional services firms in the country and to provide opportunity and prosperity to the people of the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes (CSKT). Since inception, the enterprise has grown into a family of ten subsidiary companies that support federal and commercial customers around the world.
The General Clerk I will provide support in the assembly of mailings of documents .
Special knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Must possess an excellent understanding of technical issues, ability to communicate verbally and in written form effectively, and the ability to work within U.S. Government contractual realm.
This position requires the ability to communicate effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Excellent telephone skills and knowledge of troubleshooting using vendors.
Success managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Adaptable to changing requirements and tasks.
Successfully perform basic mathematical functions as required in a business and/or engineering setting.
Demonstrate and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form.
Possess problem solving and analytical skills, and the capability to prioritize daily work schedule in keeping with productivity standards.
To perform this job successfully, an individual will have knowledge of the Microsoft development suite, and the Microsoft Office suite of software and knowledgeable of Web and Network architectures.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. An associate degree is highly desired.
Licenses/Certifications/Registrations: Current drivers’ license; Proof of U.S. Citizenship; The ability to obtain a security clearance enabling access to various Government facilities
