Takeda Pharmaceuticals Neuroscience Sales Representative in Missoula, Montana
About the role:
The Neuroscience Sales Representative primary goals are as follows (preference for individuals based in Spokane WA, Coeur d'Alene ID, or Missoula, MT):
Communicate clinical and scientific knowledge about our Neuroscience product(s) to appropriate HCPs in the psychiatric space.as well as some in primary care.
Enhance Neuroscience product promotion efforts within assigned territory
Achieve sales goal as defined by organization.
How you will contribute:
Communicate to Psychiatrists and other appropriate HCPs high level scientific reasoning supporting the understanding and treatment of depression and the benefits tied to our Neuroscience product(s)
Engage customers in a way that reflects understanding of their environment and provides insight relevant to their market and practice
Implement major depressive disorder and ADHD sales and product marketing strategies with precision to achieve sales goals
Develop, sustain and grow highly effective working relationships with Psychiatrists and other appropriate healthcare providers.
Work in conjunction with the District Business Manager to provide feedback to the Neuroscience Marketing team and Neuroscience Business Unit Sales leadership by providing market place intelligence/insights
Collaborate with others to foster greater coordination around our promotional efforts
Comply with the company Compliance Guidelines, Code of Conduct and Promotional Practices and follow Takeda's Compliance Policies and Procedures
Communicate respectfully with an inclusive mindset to internal and external customers, partners and colleagues
Education and Experience:
Valid U.S. drivers license
Minimum of 1 year of sales experience or have previous Takeda Pharmaceuticals, Inc. commercial leadership development or Takeda sales internship experience
Healthcare, medical device/medical equipment, pharmaceutical or biotech sales experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Able to learn complex topics (e.g., disease states, product information) and basic business principles Sales Techniques –.Introductory understanding of effective sales techniques.
Organization - Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records of appointments, sales calls, follow-up calls, samples, key account contacts, etc. and accomplish daily tasks promptly.
Analytical skills – ability to analyze a wide variety of data including sales and market data to make business decisions.
Relationship building skills – ability to develop and maintain relationships customers and build trust with others to increase Takeda's competitive advantage
Communication – ability to communicate ideas/data both verbally and written, in an appropriate manner including strong public speaking and presentation skills.
Must be 18 years of age or older with valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
Ability to travel 70% of the time locally, including occasional overnight travel
Must have authorization and ability to drive a company leased vehicle or rental
