Job Summary:

Come join our diverse Nursing team while providing needed care to patients seeking treatment for mental illness, medication management, substance use disorder, crisis management, and other services. You will work alongside a treatment team consisting of a Medication Management Provider, therapists, RN Health Educator, Integrated Medication Assistance Treatment Nurse, care coordinators, case management, and support staff.

The WMMHC LPN/RN will be responsible for collecting vitals, triaging patients, critical crisis calls and performing assessments within the Nurse’s scope of practice. The Nurse will then work closely with the treatment team to develop a treatment plan catered to each individual patient and following through with that specific treatment plan. If nursing for our assertive care team position you may be asked to be out in the community providing patient care involving, medication prompts, check in on patients, providing transportation to medical appointments, and/or medical support. Other responsibilities may include medication education, prior authorizations, processing medication refill requests, care coordination and other tasks.

Qualifications

  • Master’s, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in nursing, must be licensed as a LPN or RN

  • One year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting

  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.

  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.

  • Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
