One Therapy Network Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist - Kidzoola Therapy Center in Missoula, Montana

Kidzoola Therapy Center is seeking a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. Qualifications:

  • Master?s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, or similar

  • Affiliation with ASHA including ongoing maintenance of Certificate of Clinical Competence

  • Licensure with state of Montana

  • Completion of successful background check and substance abuse testing

  • Flexibility to provide services to a diverse population

  • CPR/First Aid certification current, or ability to complete within 90 days of hire

  • Minimum 3 years of pediatric experience preferred

  • Certification/experience in DIR/Floortime, SOS Approach to Feeding, or other pediatric specialties highly preferred

Job Description:

  • Conduct thorough client evaluations in order to diagnose speech, language, voice, fluency, feeding and swallowing delays/disorders

  • Develop and implement highly individualized treatment plans specific to each client?s unique profile

  • Provide on-going speech-language therapy services to a diverse caseload, both in clinic and via teletherapy

  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate

  • Collaborate with families, other therapists, medical providers, teachers, and other caregivers

  • Provide education and training to parents and other family members on relevant methods, topics, strategies and techniques for improving client communication skills, and any applicable home programs

  • Maintain careful, timely, and thorough documentation/records of services, including daily notes, evaluations, progress reports, and other applicable treatment and discharge information

  • Attend regular staff meetings, presentations, and in-servicing

  • Perform administrative duties as needed, including case management, seeking/making new materials, creating lesson plans, filing paperwork, communication with office staff, etc.

  • Participate in continuing education, additional training, conferences, and other activities for the purpose of further development and advancement of clinical skills

  • Comply with HIPAA standards as related to this position, and abide by confidentiality standards
