LC Staffing Sharpener - Production Worker in Missoula, Montana
SharpenerA Missoula manufacturer is hiring a long-term, full-time Sharpener. This is an ideal opportunity to start in an entry level position in a dynamic work environment that offers career growth and benefits.Essential Job Responsibilities:-Perform repetitive bench or line assembly operations to mass produce instruments to be used by hand-Use grinder and/or sharpening machine to sharpen steel tips to specific design specifications-Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards-Learn instruments and related product lines-Learn and apply quality processes and procedures-Become familiar with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standardsWhy you want this position:-Starting wage: $16/hour DOE-Hours:Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (5- 8s)Tuesday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. (4-10s)-Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex spending benefits, 401(k)-Gain valuable experience working on a variety of projects-Fun and casual company environment with regular employee events during work, like company BBQs, pizza days, birthday celebrations and moreQualifications:-High school diploma or equivalent, 1-3 months of similar job experience is a plus-Able to speak and read English-Math and reasoning skills-Ability to sit for long periods of time and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.-Keen attention to detail-Excellent hand/eye coordination and good manual dexterity-Team player and strong work ethicAbility to work under deadlines
