Hayden Beverage Company Spirits Sales Specialist in Missoula, Montana

Hayden Spirits, a sister company of Hayden Beverage Company, is now hiring a competitive and strategic Spirits Specialist to educate through face-to-face consultative sales. Our Spirits Specialist will be based in and covering the Western Montana region.

Spirits Specialist Job Details:

  • Present to on-premise accounts and liquor stores in a consultative sales manner

  • Educate accounts on new innovative products with the goal of achieving menu placements

  • Visit an average of 40 account per week including on-premise accounts and liquor stores

  • Plan, schedule, and work events to promote our offerings

  • Achieve Spirits Level 2 WSET

  • Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust

  • Maintain deep knowledge of Hayden Spirits products and correctly present and position them in each account

  • Track results daily including distribution, menus, drink features, promotions visibility and bar and wait staff persuasion and training

  • Maintains professional relationships with all suppliers as well as plans market visits throughout the given territory

  • Total compensation $42k – 52k DOE with growth opportunity

Requirements

The Qualified Candidate:

  • Minimum two years of outside sales or mixology experience, basic spirits knowledge required, extensive spirits knowledge preferred

  • Able to build and structure customer presentations and product proposals through analyzing and understanding data and leveraging Hayden Spirits technology

  • Demonstrate proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point as well as mobile devices and online communication techniques (email, posting, texting, etc.) in a professional manner

  • Demonstrate an exceptional ability to develop andmaintain professional relationships with internal and external clients while providing high levels of service by communicating clear and timely responses to issues, requests, problems, and regular reporting

  • Demonstrate exceptional time management skills as this position is very self-directed

  • Employee required to provide reliable transportation with company required minimum auto liability insurance.

  • Valid Driver’s License and Satisfactory Driving Record. Satisfy Company requirements which include but are not limited to no more than two (2) moving traffic violations/convictions, no DUI, or license suspensions within the past three (3) years or any other driving record that may be deemed as unacceptable by the Company
