Job Summary:

The Comprehensive School and Community Treatment (CSCT) program is designed to provide in school support for children with a serious emotional disturbance. The CSCT team consists of a therapist and behavioral specialists that offer individual and group therapy sessions, family therapy and supports, in class support, and advocacy for students in the program. The goal is to improve the student’s skill set and support improved academic success and behavior.

CSCT Therapists are responsible for providing individual, group and family psychotherapy to support behavioral and mental health needs of children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances. This position provides mental health evaluations, treatment planning, safety planning, and attends school and community meetings.

Current openings in the following locations: Frenchtown School District, Plains School District, Missoula County Public Schools (Franklin Elementary, CS Porter Middle School, Lewis & Clark Elementary, & Lolo School District)


  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field

  • License to practice as an LCPC or LCSW in Montana and hold current license or a CIT designation as a LCPC or LCSW

  • Two years’ post-graduate experience working clinically with children and families

  • Experience in day treatment preferred, experience in daily therapy, experience in individual therapy, play therapy preferred, supervisory experience, licensure preferred

  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.

  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.

  • Montana Driver’s License with good driving record
