Western Montana Mental Health Center Treatment Technician - graveyard shifts in Missoula, Montana

    Under general supervision of Clinical Program Manager, provide supportive and educational services to clients


  • Assist patients with the completion of therapeutic assignments and abide by program rules and compliance

  • Provide education and coaching on skills development and practice

  • Assist nursing and medical staff

  • Perform other necessary duties of the detoxification unit, including patient pickup or transport to and from the hospital

  • Assist in cleaning laundry for the unit

  • Assist in preparation of detox meals as needed

  • Assist in preparation and set up of patient meals

  • Ensure the security of the program and confidentiality of patients’ records

  • Monitor and maintain patient records

  • Answer incoming telephone calls, ascertain purpose of call, and route call to relevant staff or to voice mail

  • Assist staff with patients and milieu management

  • Report center operation/maintenance problems to the operations assistant and assist in resolution if appropriate

  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma

  • One (1) year of related experience as a treatment technician, residential care worker, or similar direct client care position in a behavioral health field, preferred


  • Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training will be provided upon hire

  • Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.

  • Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per Western’s policies.
