Wage: $19.00/hr.

Assists with service at the donation door and material handling. Assists with salvage operations, including scheduling salvage trucks, baling, and loading. May operate forklift. Drives Goodwill truck to pick up and/or deliver goods. Maintain cleanliness of storage area, storage containers, and/or warehouse facility. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Assists guests and donors in a friendly businesslike manner. Assists in unloading vehicle of donations.

Gets assistance with loading and unloading large or heavy items.

Operates baler, trash compactor, and other material handling devices safely.

Maintains cleanliness of storage areas, storage containers, and/or warehouse facility.

Operates equipment on vehicle to load, unload, or disperse cargo or materials in a safe manner.

Drives truck over a scheduled route to cover pick-ups, deliveries, and warehousing needs.

May schedule, or assist with scheduling: pickups, deliveries, and routing

Monitors levels of salvage product and schedules or assists with the scheduling of salvage trailers.

Prepares or assists with the preparation of bills of lading.

Sorts and delivers recyclables to local facilities.


Ability to work with people having different abilities.

Able to perform repetitive tasks independently.

Must have the ability to achieve forklift certification (after training).

Ability to move independently or with reasonable accommodation within the facility and community.

Applicant must be physically and mentally able to perform all job requirements.

Able to stand, stoop, bend, or carry for extended periods.

Able to move 20-100 pounds by lifting, team lifting, or with mechanical assistance.

Able to go up and down steps.

Tolerance to extreme changes in temperature and humidity.

Must be willing to work evenings and/or weekends to satisfy store needs.

Applicant must have a current valid driver's license issued by the state of residence, registration, and insurance and must pass a driving record check.
