Job Description:

This position can be fully remote in the United States for the right candidate!

We are looking for an experienced Associate Editor to join our team of editors at our Aspencore division at Arrow Electronics. The ideal candidate has knowledge of technology, and electronics industries, products, and services.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develop editorial content to support defined goals of web properties from concept through publication and social media distribution.

  • Content creation for assigned global websites, considering SEO best practices, target audience, and editorial standards.

  • Contribute to content distribution on social media channels as directed and according to social media guidelines.

  • Understand performance of content produced and discuss opportunities for improvement with manager.

  • Contributes with ideas during team brainstorming sessions with a good understanding of audience and appropriate level of technical detail.

  • Assists with program development for events; including introducing speakers, hosting panels and collaborating with sales/business development teams.

  • Curates/programs newsletters as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, Communications or related field, or professional journalism background

  • Knowledge of technology, and electronics industries, products, and services is a MUST

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven work experience as an Assistant Editor or similar role

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in content creation or editing, including online publishing

  • Strong writing and proofreading skills

  • Multimedia Experience – Podcasts, Video and emerging content platforms

  • Experience with MS Office, WordPress or other publishing tools

  • Experience with Photoshop and other graphics programs

  • Familiarity with SEO and social media platforms

  • Attention to details and excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$63,000.00 - $77,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
