Serta Simmons Territory Manager in Montana

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Maintains direct relationships with key decision makers in accounts  Use best efforts to promote the Serta and Simmons brands.  Interacts with Retail Sales Specialists to coordinate specific account training needs  Develop strategic account plans (e.g., market and competitive analysis, pricing, merchandising strategies and execution, and advertising strategies and execution)  Grow account through existing and new channels  Coordinate deliveries and returns with warehouses in a timely fashion  Ensure fair and equitable placement and reimbursement of retail advertising  Ensure proper and fair merchandising and pricing of Serta and Simmons products  Maintain an ongoing advertising calendar for each retail account  Understand the competitors' local strategy and deploy strategies to counteract.  Conduct business and product reviews with the customer  Ensure Serta and Simmons products and marketing message is positively and fairly represented in terms of total floor space, point of sale, condition of the floor samples and location  Accurately forecast account specific demands and promotions to products and point-of-sale materials  Increase market share within accounts through advanced selling, consuming floor space, superior service, and retail sales training  Develop, monitor, and communicate progress with local and national management through monthly and quarterly business reviews

Position Qualifications:

 Develop and maintain positive relationships with Retails Sales floor and management.  Excellent customer service and attention.  Effectively communicate marketing messages.  Proficient with problem identification and conflict resolution.  Proficient in the application of team building skills and able to function within a team environment.  Proficient in MS Office Suite and the Internet.

 3-5 years related experience  Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

Functional Skills:  Sales Training  Product Knowledge  Selling Skills

Job Factors/Work Environment:  Up to 50% travel  Work is primarily sedentary in nature  Frequent overnight travel and holiday and weekend hours.
