Position: LPN/RN (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Medication & Treatment Administration:Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.

  • Documentation:Accurately document patient care in health records.

  • Patient Education:Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.

  • Care Plan Management:Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.

  • Competency & Standards:Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.

  • Quality Assurance:Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.

  • Supervision:Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and LPNs, as applicable.

  • Team Communication:Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.

Qualifications:

  • Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

  • Licensure:Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.

  • Experience:Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.

  • Skills:Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.

Schedule & Benefits:

  • Schedule:Day shift, 36-40 hours per week.

  • Benefits:Eligible for the full-time benefits package.
