Position: LPN/RN (Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse)
Clark Fork Valley Hospital is seeking a nurse to provide routine care and support to residents in their Long Term Care unit in Sanders County. This is an opportunity to make a positive impact on patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Medication & Treatment Administration:Administer prescribed medications and treatments, following approved nursing techniques within scope of practice, and notify providers as needed.
Documentation:Accurately document patient care in health records.
Patient Education:Develop and participate in the implementation of individualized education plans for residents and their families.
Care Plan Management:Create and manage care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
Competency & Standards:Demonstrate nursing competencies and adhere to relevant infection control standards.
Quality Assurance:Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Supervision:Oversee Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and LPNs, as applicable.
Team Communication:Communicate clinical information professionally to team members.
Qualifications:
Education:Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Licensure:Current RN or LPN license in good standing with the Montana State Board of Nursing.
Experience:Minimum of one year of long-term care experience preferred, or equivalent training and experience.
Skills:Strong cognitive skills related to nursing care.
Schedule & Benefits:
Schedule:Day shift, 36-40 hours per week.
