SHERIDAN COUNTY Equipment Operator in PLENTYWOOD, Montana
Opening at Road Department HELP WANTED: Sheridan County is seeking two Equipment Operators to perform a variety of semi-skilled and skilled functions associated with operation of heavy equipment and power tools used to safely and effectively maintain, repair, and construct the roads and bridges within the County.
This is a full-time position with the normal working hours between 7:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. (varies based on season), Monday through Friday. The initial pay rate will depend on experience.
Minimum qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent and two years of experience in road/bridge maintenance, driving or operating large trucks and heavy equipment on construction or maintenance projects or related experience. Must have an "Interstate Non-Excepted" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and a valid and up-to-date Medical Examiner's Certificate or have the ability to obtain them within 3 months of hire date.
