BRUCE KETCHUM Farm Worker in PLEVNA, Montana

Temporary full-time position from 2/1/2024 to 11/15/2024. Job requires tending to livestock in the forms of feeding with bale bed on a pickup or tractor; examining; tagging and weighing cattle; herding cattle and trailing to pasture on 4-wheelers or horses; checking water for cattle; distributing salt and minerals as needed; working and sorting cattle; moving cattle through working facility; vaccinating and administering medication to cattle as needed; calving cows and bred heifers, occasionally lifting and carrying newborn calves; and weaning calves from cows. Operating various equipment including, but not limited to, tractors, front loaders, mowers, balers, 4-wheelers, swather, rakes and trucks with gooseneck cattle trailers connected. Duties also include checking property borders; installing, maintaining and removing electric and barbwire pasture boundaries; replacing broken parts as needed; changing oil; greasing equipment as needed; and replacing air filters. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
