LAKE BOAT LLC Assistant Production Manager in POLSON, Montana

Lake Boat in Polson, Montana is hiring a full time Assistant Production Manager for Boat Manufacturing. Job Responsibilities: -Assemble, install, and test mechanical and electrical components on boats and watercraft. -Work with technical drawings and assembly instructions to complete complex builds. -Inspect and troubleshoot assemblies to insure quality and precision. -Collaborate with the production team to meet design specifications and deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. -Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces, in a safe, organized manner. -Troubleshoot production issues and help to implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize output. -Assist in training and mentoring junior team members. -Support management in implementing process improvements and quality control measures: --Maintain inventory levels of materials and supplies necessary for production. --Monitor production metrics and generate reports on production performance, efficiency, and quality. --Assist in resolving production issues and addressing any technical or operational challenges that may arise. --Continuously improve production processes through innovation and implementation of best practices. --Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all production activities. --Organize the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment. Responsibilities may be subject to adjustment based upon the evolving needs of the business. Qualifications: -Proven experience in manufacturing or mechanical assembly (preferably in the boat industry). -Strong understanding of mechanical systems and assembly processes. -Ability to read and interpret schematics, and technical documentation. -Self-motivated, with excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. -Strong attention to detail and quality. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Previous management or leadership experience is a plus. Preferred skills: -Knowledge of boat construction, electrical systems, and watercraft operations. -Experience with specialized tools and equipment used in boat manufacturing. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
