Providence is calling a Compliance Specialist who will:
Provide compliance and privacy program support to management across Providence St. Joseph Health and its Affiliates in furtherance of our mission and to provide an effective compliance program
Be expected to possess mid-level skills in investigative and research techniques and practices
Develop greater expertise in certain regulatory, compliance and privacy topics
Work with highly sensitive information
Be Responsible for supporting Providence St. Joseph Health and its affiliates, including hospitals, physician clinics, skilled nursing facilities, health plan, medical foundations, educational institutions, child care centers, in-home services, and Providence Strategic Management Services (PSMS).
Be required to travel, travel may include some overnights and routine inter-facility commuting
Please note the following important details regarding this position:
This role is a hybrid position, working a combination of in office / work from home weekly
The weekly hybrid work schedule will be defined by manager and departmental needs

Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or another related field of study -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
Compliance/privacy experience, in a healthcare setting preferred
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
3+ Years of progressive experience in one or more of the following areas:
Risk Management and Quality
Compliance / Privacy Experience
Health Information Management
Accreditation Services
Revenue Cycle Services
RIS Internal Audits
Information Security

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
