MISSION VALLEY CHRISTIAN ACADEMY Health & Physical Education Teacher in POLSON, Montana
Mission Valley Christian Academy, a non-denominational ACSI certified Christian school and the premier private school in Lake County, is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and passionate Health & Physical Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
MVCA is a smaller school located in Polson Montana and surrounded by the beautiful Mission Mountains at the southern end of Flathead Lake. Our enrollment will run between 120-150 students for this year, and everyone here is like family. The salary is part time 15.5 hours a week at $16.00 per hour for first year teachers for the nine months between September and May. Benefits include professional development and certification costs, and lower tuition rates for students of teachers.
A four-year degree in Education and/or Physical Education is preferred, but the minimum requirement is experience teaching children from kindergarten to 12' grade and a willingness to start ACSI certification during the first year at MVCA.

Additional Selection Criteria for Prospective Teachers
• Proficient in the use and integration of technology in the classroom.
• Skilled in maintaining records and committed to parental involvement/communication.
• Demonstrates strong written and verbal skills.
• Exhibits strong problem-solving skills.
• Shows skill and sensitivity in working with all members of the school community.
• Experienced teachers preferred.
