POLSON CHAMBER OF COMMERCE Office Manager in POLSON, Montana
The Polson Chamber of Commerce is seeking a part-time office manager. Primary Objectives: The office manager will facilitate activities of the Polson Chamber of Commerce office aligned with the chamber's mission and the goals and objectives set forth by the Board of Directors. The office manager will be a representative of the chamber in this role and must represent it in a professional and courteous manner. Position duties require good computer skills and knowledge of board dynamics and general office procedures. The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day office functions, including the processing of invoices working in conjunction with the chamber bookkeeper. Work will also include organizing meetings and events, as well as assisting with workshops and conferences. Strong organizational skills are essential, and the ability to multi-task is required.Required Qualifications: - 2+ years of recent experience in an office/administrative role. - Highly self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal direction. - Ability to prioritize projects and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. - Excellent phone and customer service skills. - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding chamber records and financial information. - Computer skills including typing, proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, and PowerPoint) and Internet research. - Knowledge of, and proficiency with, QuickBooks software; knowledge of basic bookkeeping skills. - Knowledge of Facebook (posting, creating events, etc.).- Familiar with local area, businesses, contacts, events, etc. - Basic photography experience to photograph chamber events.- Knowledge of WordPress. - Marketing experience. The hours are 20 per week during the winter and 30 per week during the summer. The general work schedule is 10:00 am to 2:00 pm Monday through Friday from Labor Day to Memorial Day and 10:00 am to 3:00 pm from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
