Seeker must have a high school diploma or equivalent and maintain a professional attitude and adhere to a code of conduct that encourages team work, building positive two-way communication and daily attendance; adheres to schedules and works to meeting those schedules; assists with meal preparations, meal service, clean-up, and storage; assists cook and teacher with children's cooking and food experiences in each classroom according to curriculum activity; assist cook with record keeping duties to obtain skills to perform these duties in cook's absence; participate in scheduled meetings and training to develop competency; assist with the cleaning/sanitation of kitchen, equipment and supplies, following posted schedule; wear appropriate cooking attire while on duty; recruits volunteer and completes orientation of the position requirements prior to taking leave; assists cook with provisions for snacks during parent meetings; assists with menu planning, purchasing, and proper storage; supports parent & staff initiated center activities for children, and works with these individuals to complete activities.
