WEST ELECTRONICS INC. Production - Assembly in POPLAR, Montana

PRINCIPLE PURPOSE OF JOB: Assemble containers for shipment and material handling. LEVEL OF AUTHORITY: Initially receives close to moderate supervision depending on experience and complexity of the task. Following training and probationary period, expected to perform all routine assignments independently following established policies, procedures, and practices assigned by work schedule. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed indoors during business hours 6:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: I. Use power equipment and hand tools necessary to accomplish the assigned task. 2. Perform work in accordance with sound safety practices. 3. Have good hand and eye coordination. 4. Other tasks as assigned. Qualifications: I. Ability to follow oral/written instructions. 2. Must work well with co-workers. 3. Must be trustworthy 4. Must be able to work unsupervised. 5. Ability to occasionally and as necessary to use sound judgment to solve problems and make decisions independently. PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES: I. Must be able to lift 20-501bs. 2. Physical strength and ability to perform moderate to heavy manual labor, including frequent bending, standing for long periods, walking, and heavy lifting. 3. Stamina to maintain continuous physical effort for the duration of the shift on a regular basis. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: I. No special education or experience is required for this position. OTHER: I.
