WESTLAND SEED INC Retail Sales Associate in RONAN, Montana
Westland Seed, Inc. has a need for a quality sales associate with product knowledge and experience in farm, lawn, garden, and outdoor activities, such as: cattle, horses, feed, fertilizer, chemical, fishing, camping, hunting, firearms, etc. Along with product knowledge, this person should be computer savvy. This position is full or part time depending on the demands of the business. Prefer weekend availability and flexibility for the demands of the business. Pay is to be determined upon experience. Although previous experience is preferred, Westland Seed is willing to train.
Qualifications: Must be professional and hardworking; knowledge of farm, garden, ranch, animals, or sporting goods is a plus. Candidate MUST have basic computer skills. Seeking individual that is comfortable multitasking and has a positive, upbeat attitude. Knowledge of customer service principles and practices; general hunting, fishing, and/or camping knowledge; general ranching, farming and/or garden knowledge; computer and Internet literate.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities - provide excellent customer service face to face or by phone; respond promptly to customer inquiries or complaints; keep accurate customer records; organize workflow; direct requests and unresolved issues to designated resource; communicate and coordinate with internal departments; obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquires.
Westland Seed, a true Montana store, is the Mission Valley's ONE stop shop for everything for the Farmer, Rancher, Gardener and Outdoor enthusiast. We have large animal feed, dog and cat food, plus supplies, 4-H livestock feeds, fencing supplies, chemical and supplies, fertilizer and supplies, lawn grass seed, native seed, grain cereal seed, alfalfa seed, cover crop seed. We also do custom chemical, fertilizer and air seed applications. Our Sporting Goods Department has a huge selection of guns, ammo, black guns, fishing, reloading, archery, clothing, and everything an Outdoor Outfitter needs. We also have a shooting range out back as well as greenhouses and an organic garden. We strive to have what our customers are looking for and if we don't have it we will sure try and get it. Throughout the year we have special promotions and events in which we offer exceptional sales and we have fun doing it.
