DON AADSEN FORD Sales Consultant in RONAN, Montana

Job Summary: Sells/leases new- and used-vehicles at dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards. FLSA Status: Full-time/Exempt + Commission (Non-exempt for initial probationary period) Duties and Responsibilities: - Understands automobiles by studying characteristics, capabilities, and features. - Cultivates buyers by maintaining rapport with previous customers and suggesting trade-ins. - Turns customers into buyers by matching them with their ideal car. - Qualifies buyers by understanding their requirements and interests and matching these interests to various car models. - Demonstrates vehicle features and takes customers on test drives. - Demonstrates automobiles by explaining warranties and services. - Closes sales by overcoming objections, asking for sales, negotiating prices, and completing sales and purchasing contracts. - Provides sales management information by completing reports. - Assists with the setup of the showroom and displays. - Maintains an owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction. - Maintains a prospect development system. - Conducts business in an ethical and professional manner. - Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications. - Enhances dealership reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests. - Professional appearance and dress. - Computer literacy (email, Internet, basic word processing, spreadsheets and ability to learn industry specific software) - Stays current on completion of manufacturer required training for position. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. - Required to navigate between working in indoor and outdoor environments in all weather conditions. Education and Experience Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent - State drivers license with satisfactory DMV driving record - Previous successful experience in automotive sales - Preferred . Sales Consultants work 8am to 6 pm Monday-Friday and 9am to 5 pm on Saturdays. Sales Consultants will have 2 days off per week based on current staffing levels.
