CSKT Referral Coordinator in SAINT IGNATIUS, Montana
The Referral Coordinator obtains prior authorizations with third party insurance companies and/or Tribal Health Paid Care (THPC) for recipient referrals to specialists, diagnostic testing, and surgeries. Verifies insurance coverage and authorization requirements associated with referral orders.
MINIMUM RECRUITING QUALIFICATIONS AS REFLECTED ON TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT APPLICATION: High School Diploma or GED. One (1) year experience as a referral coordinator or similar type duties working with the referrals of patients for treatment and diagnostic students, or A minimum two (2) years full time experience as a medical receptionist, medical assistant, or other medical related field. Prefer three (3) years medical experience with demonstrated customer service in a medical facility.
