BRIAN HALVERSON Farm Worker in SCOBEY, Montana
Temporary full-time position from 3/15/2025 to 11/1/2025 Duties may include: Maintain farm equipment, fill and operate seeding equipment, operate tractor for light tillage, help with irrigation equipment as needed, operate pick up trucks with single axe trailers and irrigation equipment to aid in planting, cultivating, harvesting, and hauling harvested commodities from field to storage or to market (Hauling may be conducted by semi-trucks. No CDL requirement. Crops being hauled are solely owned by the employer and will be going to storage on the farm or hauling directly to market within a 50-mile radius of place of employment). Worker may also help maintain and repair farm structures as needed, & other related Farm Worker activities as per SOC/OES 45-2092 (onetonline.org). Possible weekend/holiday work. The employees will drive various semi-trucks that weigh less than 26,000 pounds. The duties will only consist of transporting crops harvested by the employer relatively short distances off the farm in order to be transported to market. No weigh stations will need to be crossed and the routes will be exclusively within the State of Montana where no CDL is required for the type of hauling. Typically, the drivers will transport harvested commodities from the crop fields to the nearby facility.
