Work, live and recreate in one of the most visited destination spots in Western Montana. Pyramid Mountain Lumber, Inc. is looking for a Millwright to join our team. If you have experience as an industrial millwright, we would love to visit with you. Job Summary: Millwrights are an essential part of Plant operations, ensuring that equipment and machinery are in proper working condition and that production is maximized. Maintains, dismantles, moves, assembles, installs, aligns and services all plant equipment and machinery. Requirements: • Have a positive attitude. • Be willing to learn. • Work well with others. • Able to work independently or as part of team. • Willing to follow instructions. • Must be available and willing to work any shift, weekends, holidays and overtime as necessary. • Able to work in all types of environments. • Must have own hand tools. • Must be punctual and maintain good attendance. • Past employment experience in a manufacturing or wood manufacturing facility preferred. • All required safety equipment must be worn at all times. • All Safety Programs and Procedures must be followed at all times. • Lockout/Tagout Procedures must be followed at all times. • Must keep work area clean at all times. Downtime is cleanup time. Essential duties: • Perform machinery lubrications and other preventative maintenance assignments. • Repair and troubleshoot mechanical power transmissions. • Bearing installment, coupling, belts, sprockets and chain driven installations. • Repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. • Welding and metal fabrication. • Know basic principles of cylinder repair. • Know proper use of fire extinguisher, wet down and fire watch procedures. • Be proficient in fire prevention/protection.
