Logan Health Program Manager in Shelby, Montana

Job Description Summary:

This position oversees the day-to-day activities for assigned program per department protocol and Logan Health mission and values.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one (1) of the following required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ relatable experience in assigned area(s) preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

  • Possess and maintain computer skills, data-entry and data analysis required. Previous graph data experience preferred. Possess ability to learn other software as needed.

  • Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.

  • Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Job Specific Duties:

  • Responsible for activity relating to the assigned program per department procedure and protocol.

  • Maintains an electronic database related to assigned area(s) and works closely with assigned leadership on reporting and trending data as applicable to assigned area.

  • Responds to, investigates, and resolves issues related to assigned area(s) in a timely manner. Notifies and seeks guidance from assigned leadership on issues per department protocol.

  • Assists leadership in presenting information and education as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • In collaboration with leadership, coordinates with appropriate stakeholders in relation to education seminars and webinars as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Promotes system wide standardized efforts and services as applicable to assigned area(s).

  • Acts as point of contact for various issues and serves as liaison within the organization related to assigned area(s).

  • Develops, maintains, and utilizes ongoing performance improvement for assigned area(s).

  • Specific job duties as applicable to Community Health Program:

  • Identifies opportunities to increase awareness of programs designed to address community health needs.

  • Responsible for the Community Health Needs Assessment and the updating and implementation of the Community Health Improvement Plan.

  • Specific job duties as applicable to Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC):

  • Develops, implements and maintains a robust PFAC.

  • Oversees and follows up on the recommendations from the PFAC.

  • Reports to leadership and Board regarding activities and outcomes of PFAC per department procedures.

  • Specific job duties as applicable to Workers Compensation Program:

  • Completes claims efficiently, files electronically and maintains accurate records surrounding all claim activity.

  • Ensures checks and deposits are processed timely and per department protocol.

  • Works with appropriate stakeholder to expedite return to work processes.

Schedule:

Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
