Marias Medical Center is looking for a full - time Respiratory Therapist. Qualifications: Must have current Montana Respiratory Therapy license. Must have NBRC credentials. Must obtain RPSGT certification.Able to obtain ACLS and NRP. Possess a current CPR certification.Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to use the telephone, copy machine, computer and any equipment necessary to fulfill job description efficiently.Is flexible regarding schedule due to emergencies and staff changes.SchedulePrimarily work weekdays (Monday ? Friday). Occasionally may be required to adjust schedule due to events, emergencies, staff changes.Rotate `On Call?Job Duties:Performs all areas of cardiopulmonary services care, including all diagnostic EKG, ABG & PFT and Polysomnography. May participate in Physician education. Performs Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.Is available for all ?life threatening? situations when on duty or on-call.Sets up, maintains and monitors ventilator ?life support system?. Sets up, maintains and operates the ABG analyzer and performs QA program as necessary.Assists with in-service training of nursing personnel as needed.Assists in maintaining supplies for the department.Assists in the evaluation of policy and procedure.Assists in the evaluation and maintenance of equipment.Performs routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment. Prepares daily charges and reports for department.Assists with QA Respiratory Therapy Program.Dress Code/Attendance/Hygiene/HealthMust comply with facility and departmental dress code and hygiene guidelines policy.Maintain consistent attendance at work as scheduled. Check in on time clock and approve time electronically per policy.Provides proper notification of absence and tardiness.Observes regulations for break and lunch.Takes responsibility for the appropriate management of benefit hours.Attends mandatory training and any other meeting specified by Administration.Practices good body mechanics.Has employee health screening tests done annually as stated in facility guidelines.Follows Infection Control guidelines.
