Ruby Valley Medical Center Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Sheridan, Montana

SummaryRuby Valley Medical Center is in search of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to assist our Behavioral Health team in serving the needs of our community.The Licensed Clinical Social Worker is responsible for providing initial evaluations for individual, group, couples and/or family therapy at Ruby Valley Medical Center, while working closely with providers on staff in a collegial fashion. Performs all duties in a manner consistent with the mission and values of RVMC.Job Requirements- Consultations with clients- Initial mental health evaluations, resulting in realist treatment plans- Assessing clients, using standardized assessments/screening tools, measures, etc.- Provide brief, solution focused therapy- Provide group psychoeducation/treatment related to chronic medical conditions- Provide information and referral services- Care coordination- Crisis assessments/triage with appropriate interventions- Provision of other services related to wellness- Documentation of services provided in accordance with requirements- Other related activities designed to provide integrated health care services- Individual psychotherapy with children, adults and families- Documentation and scheduling in electronic health record- Provide psychotherapy to children and adults- Other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications and/or Licensure:- Master's degree- LCSW (Montana license)- Two years' experience providing clinical services in the mental health fieldKnowledge and Skills Required:- Empathy and a person-centered approach to clients- Tolerance of stress- The ability to recognize your own limitations and respond to difficult situations- The ability to apply your knowledge and research to clinical problems- The capacity to be critical and analytical- To work in a self-motivated, independent way- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to deal with people in distress- The ability to collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines- The ability to use an electronic health record systemPhysical RequirementsGeneral office/clinic conditions are pleasant; good, clean working conditions where accident and hazards are negligible; requires short periods of moderate lifting, pushing or pulling objects up to twenty-five pounds, hand and finger dexterity, reaching and extending hands and arms, close vision and depth perception. Clear diction and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with the staff and public.
