RICHLAND COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE Detention Officer - Adult in SIDNEY, Montana
Full time position available for individuals with good people skills, and an interest in law enforcement. This position also requires some computer skills, communication skills, a current drivers license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants must be able to perform duties in a calm, professional manner, even in stressful situations. Officers are responsible for processing new arrivals, assisting with the courts, and overseeing the needs of individuals awaiting trial and those sentenced to serve jail time. Detention staff must attend and complete the Montana Law Enforcement Academy, Detention Officer basic training course, paid for by the employer, within the first year of hire.
