SIDNEY PUBLIC SCHOOL OT|PT Aide for the 2020-2021 School Year in SIDNEY, Montana
Completion of at least two years of study at an institute of higher education preferred; an associate or higher degree; three to six months of experience working in a OT/PT setting is desirable; or any equivalent of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities for the position.*As a condition of employment, applicant will submit to a fingerprint background investigation to determine if he or she has been convicted of certain criminal or drug offenses.*General knowledge of general concepts of child growth, development, and human physiology and anatomy.*General knowledge of occupational/physical therapy program goals and objectives.*Ability to work with individuals with occupational/physical therapy needs.*Learn and utilize basic treatment techniques and adaptive equipment in programs of assignment.*Demonstrate understanding, patient, warm, and receptive attitude toward children with occupational/physical therapy needs.*Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.*Maintain cooperative working relationships with students, staff, parents, and general public.*Ability to handle stressful situations.*Ability to maintain confidentiality of employment and student matters.*Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities.
