Temporary position from 3/1/2025 to 11/30/2025 Agriculture employee position will be required to perform the following tasks. Must be able to make minor equipment repairs, and perform routine maintenance and cleaning of farm implements, and operate tractors, trucks, trailers and farm implements required to plant, cultivate, and harvest hay and other crops; must stack hay bales; pick rocks, maintain existing fence lines and ground maintenance. The worker is also required to attach farm implements, such as plow, disc, sprayer, or harvester, to tractor, using mechanic?s hand tools; load and unload grain truck manually or using hand truck, loader, or transfer auger; weigh grain filled containers and record weights; and climb and clean out grain bins. Irrigation during the crop season. The Ag Operator will also assist in feeding of livestock during winter months until they are able to be turned out to pasture. The job entails working around farm machinery, a variety of farm animals as well as exposure to predators and snakes. Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Additional hours and split shifts needed during haying. Driving is required on ranch only but if they have a valid drivers license may drive off the ranch. Increased wages and bonus may be possible depending on experience.
