CRAWFORD FARMS Ag Equipment Operator in VALIER, Montana
Temporary full time from 4/10/2024 - 11/1/2024 Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, and post-harvest treatment of crops such as working with bins and augers to load carts and trailers; Repair and maintain farm vehicles, implements, and mechanical equipment; Set up, repair, maintain, and operate irrigation equipment such as functioning electric and diesel powered pumping units; Operate tractors (including articulated), tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery (much of which is equipped with GPS) such as loader, telehandler, air cart, cultivator to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops such as wheat, peans, lentils; Load inputs and drive trucks to transport to fields, load crops and drive 12-18 speed trucks to transport to fields and storage facilities such as elevators, bins, silos, piles/bags in close proximity to the farm; Clean work areas and maintain grounds and landscaping; Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures; Attach implements using hand tools. Three (3) months recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate non-CDL drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
