Stone MasonShort Term - Approximately a Two-week AssignmentWe strive to hire tradesmen directly from the communities in which we work to leverage local knowledge and local relationships to successfully complete projects on schedule and within budget. From the earliest stages of project design, we involve the construction and commissioning teams to provide schedule efficiencies. Infrastructure and sitework are our strengths. Our companies have teamed together to build airport runways, wind farms, tank farms, and roads. We also build backup generator buildings, remove and replace water distribution systems, improve storm and sanitary sewers, install cellular radio towers, and raise dams.Pay: $40.82/hour - plus OTTypical Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 5:30 p.m. - Beginning mid to late JulyEssential Duties:Read blueprints or drawings and lay out patterns, forms, or foundations according to plansBreak or cut materials to required size, align structures using levels and plumbsMix mortar or grout and spread onto a slab or foundation, clean excess mortar with trowels and other hand toolsConstruct masonry wallsClean and polish surfaces with hand tools or power toolsFill expansion joints with caulking materialsLay out and install rainscreen water systemsQualifications:Knowledge of stone types and proficiency with toolsAbility to read blueprints and technical drawingsAttention to detail and problem-solving skillsGet in touch!
