Job SummaryTruss Designer is responsible for the accurate design of the roof and floor trusses, walls, and components for single-family, multi-family, and commercial projects.Principal Duties and Responsibilities Design metal plate-connected wooden roof and floor trusses utilizing Mitek software Optimize designs for maximum efficiency Review orders, layouts, and data files for accuracy Assist sales and production with design service and troubleshooting Performs other duties as requiredQualifications Minimum high school graduate Preferred bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent Minimum 2 to 5 years of experience in related field/responsibilities Working knowledge and experience using Mitek software are preferred Working knowledge of floor and rood systems and the ability to spec out beams and hangarsCompensation & Benefit Information:$45,000 - 65,000 annuallyBonus/Incentive Pay:A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.Medical insurance Health savings account with company contribution Dental insurance Vision insurance Basic and voluntary life insurance Disability insurance 401(k) plan with company match Paid vacation and holidays Stock purchase program with employee discount Educational reimbursement Wellness programs and challenges Other supplemental benefits#LI-Remote The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
