Glacier Park Inc. - Grouse Mountain Lodge Core Extended Season Housekeeper in Whitefish, Montana
Core Extended Season Housekeeper, Glacier Park Inc. - Grouse Mountain Lodge, 6 temporary full-time workers - 5/1/2025 to 11/1/2025Performs the cleaning and sanitizing of rooms and common areas in hotels, lodges and cabins, including bathrooms, beds, desks, kitchenettes, floors and surfaces and ensures it is completed thoroughly and on time. Ensures staff spaces are clean and sanitized. Keeps record of potential safety and maintenance issues and communicates details to supervisor. Assists as needed with set up of rooms for special events, meetings, conferences and banquets. Offers assistance to guests and teammates where needed. Be a utility player who can complete a variety of job duties. Must be able to work in a physical working environment with walking, stair climbing, bending, reaching, lifting (up to 50 pounds with assistance) required. On the job training provided.Normal Workdays: Sunday - Saturday - 7 days a week. Business Operations: 7 days a week. Normal shift time required of workers include: 8am-4:30pm; 2pm-10 pm. Holidays and weekends included. Workers will work 35 at least hours per week and will work weekends, spilt, and rotate shifts. Base rate $20.00 per hour and $30.00 per hour for overtime when available. Paid biweekly. Will use single workweek (Sunday-Saturday) as standard for computing wages due. Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck as required by law. Employer will provide workers without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job. Workers have the option to live in Employer provided housing. Housing (Dorm or house, single and double occupancy) is $70 per week through payroll deduction. H-2B workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees). Employer will reimburse workers for transportation costs and subsistence (including meals and to the extent necessary lodging) once worker has completed 50% of the employment period. Upon completion of the employment period or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker's reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical & reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.
