Currently, SEE has a position open for a full-time Water Treatment Plant Operator.

Operation and Maintenance of assigned water treatment plants and capture systems
o Plant operation is manned 10 hours per day, 7 days per week including adverse weather conditions - freezing temperatures, flash floods, high winds, and electrical storms. Works proficiently with computerized controllers at treatment plants. Work is 7 days on and 7 days off.
o Operation and maintenance of all capture systems, water conveyance lines, and electrical lines onsite.
o Daily sludge management to maintain sludge/clear water capacities. Leach pad and pond solution inspection, monitoring and inventory.
o Maintain daily pumpback checks - recording flow and discharge data.
o Influent/effluent sample collection and assistance with field lab analyses, including but not limited to: pH; Specific Conductivity; Nitrates; and Total Suspended Solids.
- Site-wide maintenance and management
o General site maintenance of roads, reclamation, stormwater controls, snow removal, freight, and fencing.
o Assist with both regularly scheduled preventative maintenance and non-routine maintenance of all pumps and equipment.
- Safe equipment operation
o Operation of the following equipment: 16G motor grader, D9N dozer, backhoe, bobcat, boom truck, forklift, 4-wheel drive pickup, 4-wheeler, UTV, snowmobile.
o Operation of HDPE fusion machine, arc welder, and cutting torch.
Complying with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policies, including Readiness Reviews.
Complies with procurement policies.
Completes other tasks as assigned.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Team oriented and able to work with all levels of the organization.
Ability to work flexible hours.
Experience with running heavy equipment
Proficiency with MS Office Suite
Team player capable of working independently as well as with co-workers/clients.
Is willing to work toward a Montana Class 1D Industrial (or higher) water treatment plant operator license in good standing.
Proper housekeeping and maintenance of a safe work area.
Documentation of all field activities in accordance with project work plans and requirements.
Complying with Corporate Policies and Procedures, QA/QC and H&S Programs.
Water treatment plant operator license
High School diploma
Trade School or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age and legal to work in the United States.
Shut plant down if permit compliance, quality, or safety concerns exist.
Purchase indirect expenses in accordance with budget and policies.
Stop work if a hazardous condition is present that threatens the safety of project personnel, visitors, or the public.
